To compliment the film sequence, our class produced an Augmented/Interactive film poster to promote the sequence and give viewers a teaser of the film instantly. Continuing from the concept of generating visual juxtapositions, This poster displays a drug tablet filled with glitter to show the main character’s self destruction.
Our brief challenged us to produce a 2 minute opening credits scene for a film written by our own inception. Trying to stray from filming the obvious, I wanted my sequence to have social themes underneath its composition. My film sequence speaks about young women and their struggle to abide by society’s beauty standards and Mental Illness.
I dipected dangerous methods of self harm and replaced its contents with
glamourous patterns in order to show the main character’s appeal to it.
Opening title sequence directed by Gabby Westerlund (2017) of the sleeper hit "Pretty".
